I am a Ph.D. candidate in the Department of Political Science at UNC-Chapel Hill. My research focuses on American politics and political methodology. I am particularly interested in sub-national politics, organized interests, and political communication.

My dissertation, “Grassroots Lobbying and The Economics of Political Information in the Digital Age,” uses a mixed methods approach to examine how legislators prioritize and respond to email information from their constituents.
